Cawthron’s Environmental Laboratory

We offer a comprehensive range of inorganic chemical testing. From checking council and private drinking water supplies for potability, to effluent, trade and industrial wastes for resource consent purposes. We also undertake air particulate monitoring, mercury certification, analysis of wine, ceramic ware, soils and marine sediments, plus State of Environment testing.

Microbiology

This laboratory provides a wide range of microbiological testing for all types of raw and processed foods (including pathogens), product shelf life testing, plant hygiene monitoring, all categories of water, cosmetics, disinfectants and challenge testing.

Our friendly, experienced teams offer a 24 hour, 7 day week service with a prompt turnaround time. Our Labware Laboratory Information System allows us to process results and inform clients by e-mail with interim reports as soon as they become available.
