Cawthron’s applied research is the basis for its expertise in providing client focused practical solutions for all aquatic aspects of the Resource Management Act. Cawthron staff are sought after for their ability to follow the resource consent process through from Assessment of Environmental Effects (AEE) to the Environment Court stage in a cost effective manner.

  Oceanographic instrumentation: current meters, conductivity-temperature-depth instruments, real-time on-board data collection systems, and in-house phytoplankton laboratory.
